We strive to make all our shows at KOKO accessible to everyone and we work with Attitude Is Everything to make sure things keep improving. Our venue was built in the early 1900s, so there are challenges, but together we can identify issues and come up with practical solutions. Your feedback is always welcome and we’ll do our best to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs.
The levy charge (£1.75) goes towards the maintenance, refurbishment and upkeep of our venue.
As a Grade II listed venue and an iconic part of London’s cultural heritage, the running of KOKO comes with a huge amount of responsibility, which we don’t take lightly. Everything we do has to be considered, investigated and approved by third parties, and often planning permission is required – which can be expensive. We’re determined to maintain what’s become a very special venue within the community, and protect the legacy for future generations to enjoy. To do so, we depend in a large part on gig-goers’ contributions and support through the levy charge, and so we’d also like to say a huge thank you. We know tickets can be expensive and additional charges are frustrating, but this one really makes a huge difference, and plays a vital role in securing KOKO’s future.
